Vanitas Collection: ephemeral beauty between art and jewellery
The Vanitas collection takes its name from the Latin word vanĭtas, a symbol of life’s fleeting nature and the transient beauty of earthly things. It was born as an ode to fragile beauty and to the decadence of existence, inspired by the dreamlike and symbolic universe of The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch.
Each jewel is an artistic reinterpretation of this pictorial masterpiece, turning its most enigmatic elements into precious details: glass bubbles, symbols of the ephemeral, and roses, emblems of beauty destined to fade.
Entirely made in Italy in 925 sterling silver, burnished or 18k gold plated, and enriched with mother of pearl, these jewels embody timeless elegance while blending vintage charm with a refined contemporary aesthetic. The iridescent glow of mother of pearl recalls the transparency of Bosch’s painted bubbles, evoking a world suspended between dream and reality.
